If you don´t tell your story,
someone else will!
While it may be a natural instinct just to hunker down in a storm, cutting yourself off from your stakeholders is what you can least afford when the going gets tough.
A crucial prerequisite for staying the course is to maintain the confidence of those who matter to your business – both external and within the company.
To achieve this, you have to keep talking to people and you have to get it right in content and tone. Once you stop, or if you fail to convince, they will start assuming the worst.
And abandon ship.
